Resecond — the shared walk-in closet: Stine Skytte Østergaard at TEDxCopenhagen

Resecond is the first physical dress swap shop on the planet. A collaborative consumption community in Copenhagen, Denmark, in which you give to get, where you think as a giver, before you think as a taker. Stine Skytte tells the story about her shared closet where women inspire each other to recycle the world’s resources. But she has also discovered something even more exciting: Resecond is a storyteller shop for hundreds of dress stories attached to the dresses.
Stine Skytte Østergaard is a textile designer and a graduate from Design School Kolding and Fondazione Arte Dela Seta lisio in Florence.
Stine has founded Resecond — the first dress-swap-shop on the planet, where women share their dresses and stories about them with each other.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
