Lynda Reeves takes you inside the Kips Bay Decorator Show House in New York City, where Richard Ouellette and Maxime Vandal of Les Ensembliers share the stunning dressing room they designed. See inside the dreamy walk-in closet that’s fit for a Park Avenue princess.
Richard and Maxime treated the space like a jewel box, decorating it with ornate details, rich textures and sculptural elements that function as art. A fixture on the intricately plastered ceiling resembles a pearl necklace, while symmetrical wall sconces are inspired by earrings. Four wardrobes in a teal colorway anchor the corners of the room and create height, and a beautiful custom vanity is a showstopper in the center of the dressing room. Dark-patterned curtains on gold geometric rods and abstract artwork surround the luxurious space.
